I am a 5-star Etsy seller with 1000s of sales and reviews. This is the cheapest place to buy my maps.

Almost all of my maps look amazing at large sizes (2m+) and I can frame them. Contact me to discuss your specific needs. Learn more about how we source maps that you can't buy anywhere else.

Originally hailed as "the most perfect map of London that has ever been issued" by the Royal Geographical Society when it was published in 1862, it's safe to say that Edward's Stanford's library map of London was a masterpiece of cartography.

The natural size for this map is 16x20 inches (40x50cm), but it looks great at sizes all the way up to 70 inches (178cm) wide. The labels are legible at 12x16 inches (30x40cm) but quite small. The 24x30 inch map has white edges that can easily be snipped off (or they may help you with framing!)

The map was originally published in 24 sheets. Altogether the map would've measured about 2 metres wide (78 inches). This here is sheet 7, which focuses on the city centre parts of the modern day boroughs of Islington and Hackney.

On this map you can clearly see: Hoxton, Haggerston, Clerkenwell, Bethnal Green, London Fields, Dalston, Kingsland, Canonbury, Shoreditch and De Beauvoir Square.

This would make a wonderful gift for someone from this part of London or who has east/central London in their heart!

You can order the map itself, or you can order a framed version. The frame is a nice, simple black frame that really makes our maps pop out when on a wall. Please get in touch if you'd like a different frame, or larger framed map. We use super-clear perspex in our frames - it's less reflective than glass and better for transport.

Our museum-quality maps are made on thick and durable matte paper. Add a wonderful accent to your room and office with these vintage map prints that are sure to brighten any environment.
