Originally handcoloured almost 450 years ago, this is one of the finest examples of this map that I've ever seen.
This map looks great at all sizes from 12x18 inches (30x45cm), to 16x20 inches (40x50cm) and 24x36 inches (60x90cm). But it looks even better when printed large. I can create beautiful, large prints of this map up to 80 inches (200cm) wide. Please get in touch if you're looking for larger, customised or different framing options.

Zoom into the listing images and marvel at the amazing detail of this map, which shows all the streets and houses of Edinburgh Old Town and even a bit of their architecture. In the top left corner of the map, first built in the 11th century, Edinburgh Castle dominates. And you can clearly see the city walls and St Giles Cathedral, too. The meadow can be seen at the bottom edge of the map, and that's Arthur's Seat in the bottom right.
This would make a wonderful birthday or Christmas gift for someone from Edinburgh or who has Scotland in their heart.
The model in the listing images is holding the 24x18 inch (60x45cm) version of this map.
You can order the map itself, or you can order a framed version. The frame is a nice, simple black frame that really makes our maps pop out when on a wall. Please get in touch if you'd like a different frame. We use super-clear acrylic (perspex/acrylite) in our frames - it's less reflective than glass and better for transport.

I use a unique process to restore my maps that is massively time consuming and labour intensive. Hunting down the original maps can take months. I use state of the art and eye-wateringly expensive technology to scan and restore the maps. As a result, I guarantee my maps are a cut above the rest - that's why I can offer a no-quibble refund.
Almost all of my maps look amazing at large sizes (200cm, 6.5ft+) and I can frame and deliver them to you as well, via special oversized courier. Contact me to discuss your specific needs.
