Handmade to order
There are 6 maps in the series, each focusing on a different aspect or theatre of World War 2. This map, No. 4, focuses on the Pacific Theatre and the "timeline of Japanese Aggression" in the region from 1895 through until the Pearl Harbour attack in 1941.
In the bottom left corner is a detailed plan of the Battle of Midway, with a tally of the friendly and enemy losses (of course, the US did not lose much compared to the Japanese!) In the bottom right there's a plan of the Battle of Attu.
There's an incredible amount of detail on this map. Zoom into the listing images and see what you can spot!
This map looks great at all sizes from 12x18 inches (30x40cm) to 18x24 inches (45x60cm) and beyond. The text is definitely quite small when printed at 12x18 inches. The map looks its best when printed large. I can create beautiful, large prints of this map up to 500cm (200 inches) wide. Please get in touch if you're looking for larger, customised or different framing options.
This map would make a great birthday or Christmas gift for someone from the US or Japan, or perhaps someone interested in geography, the US Navy, Pacific Theater, or World War 2.
You can order the map itself, or you can order a framed version. The frame is a nice, simple black frame that really makes our maps pop out when on a wall. Please get in touch if you'd like a different frame, or if you'd like to frame one of the larger maps. We use super-clear acrylic (perspex/acrylite) in our frames - it's less reflective than glass and better for transport.

I use a unique process to restore my maps that is massively time consuming and labour intensive. Hunting down the original maps can take months. I use state of the art and eye-wateringly expensive technology to scan and restore the maps. As a result, I guarantee my maps are a cut above the rest - that's why I can offer a no-quibble refund.
Almost all of my maps look amazing at large sizes (200cm, 6.5ft+) and I can frame and deliver them to you as well, via special oversized courier. Contact me to discuss your specific needs.
