I am a 5-star Etsy seller with 1000s of sales and reviews. This is the cheapest place to buy my maps.

Almost all of my maps look amazing at large sizes (2m+) and I can frame them. Contact me to discuss your specific needs. Learn more about how we source maps that you can't buy anywhere else.

This old black and white/monochrome wonderful and exceedingly rare map shows the ancient county of Warwickshire as it was in 1611. It was created by John Speed and engraved by Jodocus Hondius, and originally published in Speed's "The Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine".

This map looks great at all sizes: 12x16 inches (30x40cm), 16x20 inches (40x50cm) and 18x24 inches (45x60cm), but it looks even better when printed large. I can create beautiful, large prints of this map up to 52x70 inches (130x180cm). Please get in touch if you're looking for larger, customised or different framing options.

I also have a handcoloured version of this map, which is identical but was handcoloured 400 years ago and is rather beautiful:

Back in the 1600s, Warwickshire included some big cities that have since become their own districts. Birmingham (then Bermicham), Solihull, Coventry and Sutton Coldfield are all shown on this old county map.

In the top left corner is a detailed engraving of Warwick, then (and still) the capital of this ancient county. In the top right is a lovely engraving of Coventry, or Coventree as it was called back then.

Most of Warwickshire's most populous towns and cities have already popped into existence by the 1600s. Here are some of the places clearly visible in this old map of the county of Warwickshire: Warwick, Atherstone, Nuneaton, Coleshill, Kenilworth, Kingsbury, Tamworth (now in Staffordshire), Polesworth, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Southam, Stratford-upon-Avon, Studley, Whitnash and many more. But of course, many of them are spelt in their Early Modern English forms.

Take a look at the detailed images and try to spot your hometown! Feel free to message me if you want to confirm if a certain Warwickshire town or village is on this map.

This would make a wonderful birthday or Christmas gift for someone from Warwickshire or who has Warwickshire in their heart.

You can order the map itself, or you can order a framed version. The frame is a nice, simple black frame that really makes our maps pop out when on a wall. Please get in touch if you'd like a different frame. We use super-clear perspex in our frames - it's less reflective than glass and better for transport.
